Minutes - April 12, 2007

Minutes of the April 12, 2007 ADTC meeting submitted by secretary Sarah McKee. Discussion included a review of the Amherst Caucus and fees involved, election of officers, preparations for ADTC's hosting of the Massachusetts Democratic Party Convention at UMASS, frequency of ADTC meetings, David Boyer welcomed as new Associate Member, impeachment sign holding, and the ADTC web site transition to Azurelink.

Minutes - February 8, 2007

Meeting was a followup discussing the turnout at the February Caucus and presenting the list of elected convention delegates. We also discussed the upcoming Massachusetts Democratic Convention, and the logistics for the post-convention party to follow -- hosted by the ADTC. Other items included an upcoming speaker event featuring Western Massachusetts Labor Action organization representative Miguel Silva, a report from the Impeachment Outreach Committee on their upcoming event "Iraq, Iran, and a Constitutional Question of Impeachment", as well as a report encouraging ADTC members to send emails to the DNC to work for adequate youth representation at the convention according to the bylaws. Minutes - January 11, 2007

This meeting was focused primarily on items pertaining to the upcoming Massachusetts Democratic Convention -- hosted by the ADTC -- and included the February caucuses for convention delegate selection and many logistical items in preparation for the convention as well as official committee business. Minutes - October 18, 2007

Several very important issues were discussed at this meeting. Among them were invitations to help with the campaigns of Ed  O'Reilly, Jass Stewart, Diana Stein, and whether to support or oppose issues, such as supporting the League of Women Voters Massachusetts in opposing casino gambling and introducing a ballot initiative seeking to decriminalize small amounts of marijuana. Will Senator Kerry accept the ADTC's invitiation to speak here in Amherst? ADTC will recommend that Gladys Rodriguez have a second term as Registrar of Voters. Many other items were discussed, including official committee business. Full text of minutes follows.
